The way it was comrade! This raved about tour will take you on a journey back in time and shows you what life was like during the 50 years of communism. The tour guide will summarize how it all started, how big brother told us what to do and what not to do and teaching you about life behind the iron curtain. The tour includes: Statue Park, Liberation Monument (Gellért Hill), Szabadság (Liberty) square - Memorial to the Liberating Soviet Soldiers, Revolutionary hero statue of Imre Nagy, Kossuth square: Eternal Flame – 1956 Memorial, Parliament (exterior), Dózsa György Avenue (the scene of military parades during the dictatorship), Hereos’ Square. The tour ends at the House of Terror.
